These sharp knives have grooves in the surface of the plates. I like these plates because they can also be used as shallow bowls. The color is beautiful and they are very sturdy. The only regret is the first time I used them. I used a sharp knife to cut food and the scratches were deep, deeper than the surface scratches. This left tiny scratches on my plates. I will continue to use these plates, but be careful: don't use them with a sharp knife!June 20, 2025

Durable and easy to clean. These plates are very durable and easy to clean. My only negative is that they tend to bend more when heated than other plates or even regular ceramic plates. Unlike plastic plates, though, this isn't a big deal. Overall, I'm very happy with these plates and would highly recommend them. My kids love their bright colors.June 20, 2025
