Plates with rims. I like them. They look nice and I like the rim. If there is anything wrong with them it is that they don't stack as evenly as in the photo and they take up more room in the dishwasher, but that wouldn't stop me from buying them again. Excellent value for the money. My wife and I splurged and decided to get this set to replace our pile of mismatched plates. I was expecting the durability of this set to be a lot less than what we received. They feel very sturdy. All of the plates fit perfectly in the dishwasher. The bowls are a little smaller than our previous set but we are used to that. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a good product at a good price. Beautiful. Packaged perfectly. Better than any other bowl I've bought. No cracks or chips. Feels great, looks great, and is very modern. Very good. I've had them for about 10 days. They clean up great in the dishwasher, but they do have some drawbacks: they get very hot in the microwave or when heated with very hot foods. Also, the bowls do not stack very well.
